Whatever will this man do next? David Beckham is a man with vision, charisma, talent, motivation, willpower and patience. He is very grounded, spiritual and always working hard upon his own self development. He is a quick learner, very little phases him and his ability to overcome challenges, is far beyond what many of us can comprehend. When he sets his mind to something, he usually makes it happen, or at least gives it his best shot!
David knows what it’s like to be the underdog, feel despair and how to offer support, compassion and empathy. Such experiences enable him to inspire and motivate others, offering them hope of a brighter future. He understands inequality and injustice at a level many of us cannot imagine.
David is very intuitive and I feel he has always had the ability to weigh up other people and situations, very quickly. This may have caused confusion when younger, as he needed time to process and make sense of all this information available to him. His heightened awareness and sensitivity means he feels everything very deeply, yet has discovered his own coping strategies for most situations. He is not afraid to express himself honestly and diplomatically when needs be. Through perseverance, he has acquired some remarkable communication skills.
David doesn’t help others simply because he can, he helps others because he wants to! However due to his extreme sensitivity and compassion for the wellbeing of others, there are times he experiences difficulty saying ‘no’ (unless it is close friends or family!)
I feel this is a time in David’s life whereby he needs to be careful not to scatter his energies too thinly. He continues to reap many rewards after investing a lot of hard work and effort, but how does he deal with the consequences of such fulfilment? David feels responsible for all of his commitments and at times this can be a heavy cross to bear. Sometimes he is not sure he is giving as much as he can to all the many projects he is involved within and he needs guidance from a close circle people around him to be the voice of reason. David understands delegation, otherwise all his many projects would not be operating successfully as they are, yet I feel this is a time whereby he needs to consider which projects he needs to step back from and simply let go. He needs to ensure that everything does not become too much hard work, so that he does not feel bogged down with excessive burdens and responsibilities.
I sense this is a year for David to stop and examine his current lifestyle and re-evaluate what his broader goals are. It is important that he frees himself up for rest and relaxation when needs be. He needs to be careful not to over commit and better pace himself.
I feel within 2015, David will be exploring new ways to provide scholarships to children within sports, arts and education. I sense the foundations being laid of a new arts and sports therapy project, providing rehabilitation to traumatised children. I feel a book of photography coming together, featuring some of these inspiring children and young adults, the challenges they have overcome, or are learning to live with. I feel new methods and techniques being developed to help others undergoing such challenges and feel David getting the support of celebrity role models for these children. I feel him attending a conference bringing several several charities together to share their knowledge and maybe resources, to find new and improved ways to work together. I feel that it will be his pragmatic and common sense approach that brings a solution or a way forwards, which previously may not have seemed possible.
I feel David will be enabling the marketing of products produced by some of these children’s projects including, artwork, photography, crafts and designs and aiding some of these projects to become self-sufficient. I feel Victoria helping with the promotion of certain designs and fabrics produced by one of these projects. Together I feel they continue to make a formidable team.
Family life will always remain important to David and working with families and children will always hold deep significance to him. David is always ready and willing to learn new things and he is very devoted to what he believes within. He may well consider learning some new skills this year, which can improve the way he interacts with others even more deeply. He may have mastered several domains, but he is quite happy to be the apprentice! Whether he is creating goals on or off the pitch, he knows how to make them happen!
